So is this the castle acting on its own accord, or is the Beast causing it? Also, trippy angles again in this one, adding to the surrealist feel. And the anticipation for the big reveal grows...
The castle runs on blood magic? The castle drinks blood itself? Eek. This curse is sounding a lot more sinister than it did then minutes ago! (Which is saying something, considering the forced transformation and the freaky not-birds...)
...Aaaaaaand I got more. How Beauty's eyes are blacked out makes the creepiness worse. Also this page implies the castle's magic is fueled on blood (another part of the Beast's duties, perhaps, or a sacrifice necessary to sustain both the castle and him? Certainly he has to eat, so his kill sustains him that way, if nothing else). Beauty's looks especially like her father in this one, and she's got that horrified stare that made me so excited to see what happens next...!
