I take it the question was rhetorical?

(Also, that sounds painful...)

Is this when the Beast becomes, well, the Beast? What an intriguing prospect, if that's true. That means the Beast was not punished, whether justly or unjustly. He made a deal, although I'm sure he had no idea how steep the price would be.

I'm lost, what's happening here?
I have no idea what's going on.

oh this is looking, and sounding, very ominous. It almost looks like the- whoever that is- is firing up his magic pistons, so to speak. you know that feeling when you're nervous for a character, even though you know it's silly b/c they're not real and why should you care but... oh god you're so nervous? that's me right now.

...Perhaps there was a nod in between the question and the crackle? (Either that, or someone accidentally stepped into an electrified fence before the conversation could be properly concluded.... :D)

Whoever is brokering these deals agrees with me: being willing to pay any price is dangerous. And sacrificing everything...well now, doesn't that sound ominous? The crackle pops, after the Beast was chowing down in the last scene, add to that.
