And still no one is saying Elise is dead. Just "gone." I'm a bit upset that I missed that the first time around; I'm an English major, so I should be better on picking up language quirks, especially ones as blatant as this one. Anyway, we have some very pretty artwork that reminds me of your poster and...is that a rose over the Beast's heart? Is the magic rose going to be tied with his life force? If it's taken or given away, are his days are numbered? I suppose we'll see! But yes, magical debts have a way of mucking things up. Congratulations on stepping into one, sir. They're real fun to try squirming out of. At least you sound like you're planning to honor your word though. Very good, sir. Very good.
AbigailBrooks, I didn't catch that either, and I'm an English major too. Perhaps it's that we always took for granted that every adaptation has the mother dead?
The third panel's perspective feels a little awkward but I can just sense Temperance moving in the fourth. Good job keeping Beauty's emotions looking very innocent.
