First you would have to describe it,
So we would notice it.

Wow-- I wonder if when he was first transformed could he speak... I know the beast in 'beauty' couldn't at first, I think it said it took hi a cetury to learn how to speak again... anyway, great page ^^ beast looks adorable

Wow. I'm a straight guy, and I want to hug him and tell him things will be okay. You've written a wonderfully engaging character here, Megan. :)

So his memory from right after he transformed is muddled - but he thinks that he wanted to lose himself to the Beast's mind so as not to dwell on the pain of what happened. He slowly regained his humanity through tending to the garden and reading in the library - which reminds me of my headcanon of him learning how to cook for that purpose (which I don't think he did, since he hunts and eats raw meat, but even so, I like my headcanon). The Beast's face in the last panel is ADORABLE. "And dinner with you" awwwwwww!
