Phooo! I feel like I'm back from being away for ages and ages. It's been a busy, busy, BUSY summer what with getting the book out and shopping around another project. I am planning to update the archives, and never to draw a chess game again.

I'm curious if any of the flowers on this mysterious book correspond with any of the chapter titles...and which ones they are.

Well this is an exciting present to come back form vacation too!
You may have hated it, but the chess game was AWESOME! :)

After reading through the whole chess game and conversation I can say I don't blame you. It takes a lot of work to render all those chess pieces ;D

I really enjoyed the conversation though.

I'm glad it worked! Maybe I'll put the next scene in a nice, empty white room... Hmmm XD

Haha! That's funny, but we've all had dreams of doing just that XD

So...definitely not letting her win, then. :) And do we know what flowers are attached to the book? They look as if they could be lavender, but I'm more blind than I'd prefer to be, so...hmm.

Hmm, despite letting her win at chess for awhile, he still ultimately reached checkmate before she did. And is that a book of flowers and their meanings? Color me intrigued!

I tried five times to mimic the movements of their game on my computer's copy of "Chess Titans", but I kept getting mixed up in the movements of the knights in the first few pages.

...And I don't even like chess, so that effort should give you some idea of how invested I am in this story. LOL <3
