Very sneakily symbolic of you, Beast. :P

Agreed, Doodler. I noticed the subtle glance, too.

Really bad and sappy 90s ballads are flowing through my brain at the moment.

You have no idea how much Meatloaf has been played in this house lately. I'm so tempted ot make an alternate soundtrack entitled "if this was a TV miniseries in 1993"

If we're gettin' sentimental, Gingerhaze posted THIS today and it gives me the feelings.

I thought amaranth was a grain? -tilts head- All my seed catalogues seem to indicate that's what it is, haha. A decently high-in-protein grain, to boot.

I wonder if that first panel is from the Beast's perspective? The angle seems right and, if so, this kind of captures how he must see her: as bright and young and still rather innocent. Their discussion of amaranth feels symbolic, too - to not be so dismissive of things, since you might find something worthwhile in them at a second glance.
