Beauty's getting real tired of this mysterious business

Oh wow, that book looks tiny in Beast's hands! XD;;; That really shows us the difference in their sizes!

Hmmm, will Beast show us a little of the reason why he freaked out so much?

Is that a fingerprint on the page there, in the second panel?

...look, someone had to say it. Now we can all get on with our lives. You're welcome.

Did they show her finding this book in the comic? Anyone have a link to that page? I don't remember it. I had assumed she picked this book up here just now. Was she carrying it with her all this time?

She found it on her bed at the end of chapter two:

I love the 'No. Those rooms belong to you.' and the implication that because it's *her* space, he wouldn't think of intruding in there, even if it was something like to place a book there. Because that's her territory, her safe haven.
Yet by the same token, she's comfortable enough with him that even if he had put the book by her bedside while she was sleeping, she's okay with that thought.
So there's a lot right there, just in that one panel.
(I didn't realise I could comment without an account! *squee*)

The Doodler
What they said. ^
And that he assumes that OF COURSE that's her spot, and he's got no bussiness snooping around, how obvious that seems to him. Good.

I think with her Family she is not used to privacy. So it would be of no concern to her anyways if he put it there. She is more concerned of being all alone the whole night i would think.

His hands really dwarf that tiny little book. We get confirmation here that the Beast didn't leave his notebook with her - it was instead placed there by another force. I wonder how long it's been since he lost this book - he probably did so back when he was human, no doubt. Was this given to Beauty as a subtle way of encouraging him - suggesting that he can return to the man he was, as things from his past return to him - or is it instead a way of taunting him? Or is it a hint to Beauty about the mystery surrounding him? Curiouser and curiouser....

If the fey are involved, it may have been all three.

For me it Looks like there are different Forces at work in beasts realm. friend and foe. Be careful there.
