This chapter is way longer than I projected it to be. We've been on the chapter for 25 weeks. It's almost a third of the length of Act One. @__@

Clock or no clock, if they're stained with herbs then I guess he has thyme on his hands.

Ow, Laevateinn. Ow.

I wish I'd thought of it. :)

Also, "It shows that he's capable of harm, but that what he's chosen to do is heal" is a fantastic line. Well done, Ms Megan!

It's now official.
According to a recent survey of webcomic-stalkers, clocks are the #1 ruiner of romantic moments.

Here I am, snorting, and knowing /i can't watch the Disney BATB now without this scene playing in my head. I think it's a good thing??

The Beast looks so small and imploring in the first panel. Beauty, in return, gives him such a thoughtful and sincere answer (how old is she again?) - while leaning towards him, adding to the intimacy of the scene. Of course, the spirit of the castle doesn't seem to think much of that, since it interrupts them by making the clock chime excessively loudly. Darn you, clock!

And now he must hurry and maybe leave some Special shoe on the stairs.
