I love the parallel between Clark Kents glasses and Beasts hair pulled back, she had to comb his hair forward to really convince herself that the boy she saw is indeed her Beast.
Long time lurker here. I enjoy the fact that usually we're seeing Beast's hair/mane go wild when he's losing his humanity, but here Beauty had to encourage it to go 'wild' to -find- and confirm the humanity she suspected within him.
A small 'be yourself' moral here? Perhaps his feral outbursts aren't so much the animal taking over as it is the frustration and anger of the man reaching a breaking point and boiling over. Which he ends up feeling guilty for, then thinks that's all he's able to do, so creating a vicious cycle. "It's to hurt if it's to heal", hopefully he allows himself to learn the right lessons from today.
Well at least the Beast is getting a hug, even if he's not conscious for it! Gosh, like the others said, I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for. If I could, I'd wrap them both up in a huge blanket and give them hot chocolate. Poor kids....
I discovered your webcomic only a few days ago and I've been absolutely hooked! I'm using it as reward for making progress on my current freelance assignment, a chapter or two at a time XD
Thank you so much for this beautiful webcomic. Such a treat for us readers!!
