Come to think of it, why is the Beast cloaked here? Later, when he's about to reveal his presence, that makes sense, but if he's cloaked now, then that means...he wants to hide his current form even from himself? Oh. Ow. Right in the feels...

On an artistic standpoint, that is one amazing silhouette.

Yes, The Beast's outfits tend to be loose and not very figure defining. A lot of my early concept art of The Beast based his costume designs on clerical robes, but they wound up disguising his figure too much for clear acting, and since they were all black, they tended to muddy into each other and look like curtains.
