Interesting how someone else can see you so differently than you see yourself.

The past few pages are beautiful. I just have to say, B&B is just such a gorgeous strip. ;3;* <333

So many things to love in this page - Beauty's expression in the third panel, the Beast's little head duck (I am such a sucker for a head duck) and, of course, the fact that his refLECTION IS STILL HUMAN AAAAAAH

Jiminy. What a revelation - I didn't see that coming and it's awesome :)

Course, kind of cheesy lines, but... this is a scenario between two characters where it works. The cheesy factor is significantly lowered, because it feels natural to say. Wonderful

AAAH I love it! And I think it works precisely like you say, M - Just because Argus is a caretaker doesn't mean it would occur to him that he's the moral center of the castle, he's just someone with a job.

Deciding how to place The Beast's ears is one of the great pleasures of drawing this comic.

It's conscience, eh? I very much doubt that the magic views him as that, but functionally, yes, the Beast can be said to fill that role. He acts as the bridge between the magic and humans, and can understand human morality, so it makes sense that he would find ways to fulfill his role and uphold deals that will make it so they don't cross into Orange and Blue Morality.
