Where the heck is he going with this? :D
Sending her home now would be a little anticlimatic to her, no? After THIS confession?
Seriously man, what are you up to? Because... you know... usually this is where the "I guess I love you"-part comes in but we're not there yet so it has to be something else?!
Is it Friday yet? ;)
This is a set up for not only returning Beauty back to her world, but also sealing him away in his.
Hes going to say something that's going to hurt all of us emotionally, then ask Beauty to leave. Or transport her to her family. Either way, hes thinking this will be the last time he sees her and doesn't want them parting on bad terms. He wants her to know he was happy with her, that she gave him back part of himself.
Oh Beast, I know you want part with Beauty on good terms, and that is totally understandable, but I've got a nasty feeling that this will make leaving even harder for her.
Here's something I'm wondering: how is Beauty going to find out what really happened to/with her mom? Her dad doesn't know, her sisters only know part and guess at other parts, and Beast can't tell her (he's tried). If she leaves now and returns at the traditional time (when Beast is dying), how do we get a climactic resolution to this really intriguing back-story?
I really can't wait to see how this plays out. So many exciting twists and promised turns :)
We've already seen scenes from the Beast's POV that aren't in the original story; I'd guess we'll find out what the sisters know, which might very well be as much as Beauty's mother knew, with flashbacks showing the rest in painful detail. Or, y'know, the stuff we already have in the Prologue and Entr'Acte might be similarly continued to clarify everything.
This page would almost be a shojo page if you replaced the leaves with cherry blossom petals. Also his confession is so sweet! "I've never felt happiness like I have with you" Awww, Beast, you're so cute! Who wouldn't love you? And don't say your abusive mother, since she is an outlier and should not be counted.
