This whole family is just SO GOOD at subtlety.

Oh yeah so subtle ladies.

Probably should have tried another room that wasn't under hers XD.

About as subtle as a brick wall. More or less.

Oh my! Till now I thought they've had been few days for beauty in the palace and some weeks for her sisters in the farm... Now I see the baby's face and its gestures and it's obviously not a newborn and I think time has really passed by for real months and I can't really remember how Beauty saw her sisters in the fountain but I find them amusing and brave for keeping hope of seeing her after so much time of unknowing. I would have already desperaired and mourned and all!

I really appreciate your eye for detail. The baby having fingers in his mouth in a classic teething pose is great. Looks like he's about 4 months old?

"Guys, I know you're talking behind my back. Just ask me flat out - and if I don't answer, well, I probably have good reason for that."

"Probably because I don't know the answer myself."

SUBTLE, GUYS! Also, yeah, Beauty would be dressed in something nice--the castle is filled with finery. Their respective takes on questioning Beauty about her time away--that they're not sure they want to know the (potentially gory/"I'm not sure I want to know if our sister is a furry") details or risk upsetting their sister--make sense, though they'll probably need to ask at some point anyway. You can't get past the elephant in the room if you don't acknowledge that it's there, after all.

Some centuries ago a small box with laces was worth a mansion or fortune, whatever.
