Phew! it's been a WEEK, friends. Nonstop construction at my studio and moving to a new apartment today. Life is made entirely of cardboard and chaos.

Meanwhile, Beauty opens the second trunk and their mom pops out along with a ton of past due birthday cards and the resolution to the plot.

Oh my goodness. I just found your comic, and read the whole thing in two sittings. The plot is well paced, the dialogue is compelling, the characters feel relatable and grounded, and your art style is just beautifully expressive. What a treat it was to catch up on the past three acts, and I cannot wait for what happens next! Keep up the awesome work!

Aww, Beauty has the cutest face in that last panel! Like she's so pleased to see those things but also embarrassed at the finery :)

A box like that full of lace you could buy an average farm for in those days, including house, barn and cattle. People could become greedy for that, easily. Be careful, Beauty.

Awwwww, he sent her her fancy clothes in one of the trunks! That's so sweet of him! I bet they could sell those for good money, if they didn't want to use the Beast's "blood money" to help their family out.
