She misses him :)

And ohh I wonder if she hears something or thinks someone's out there :o

What flower is that? Is it lilac? I rather hope it's lilacs, and that Beauty's little blush is due to them being of the lavender variety.

Sometimes it's so much easier to profess your love for someone when they're miles away, and in a fashion that isn't in 'real time'. Rejection doesn't sting as bad when they can't just turn you away to your face.

The Castle might actually be the ideal dealer: always has your strain in stock, provides plenty of snacks, and doesn't make things awkward by hanging around afterwards.

As I recall, Lilac signifies first love or the beginning of love. Also the last time I saw a book of flower-sketches in this story, they were done by Argus when he was a bastard but not a beast.

I was just introduced to this Web comic yesterday and finished it today. I love your work, and I look forward to seeing more in the future! :)

Awwww, she is looking into Argus's journal! And there's the lilac he gave her, which, as we surmised at the time, represents the first feelings of love between two people. It looks like she isn't as ready to let go of the Beast as she thought. It also looks like she put the flower back when something outside distracts her. Is the wind a hint at the disturbance going on back at the castle or is something else going on?

Has someone followed her out to the barn, maybe? Her father? They seem due for a talk. That or the sisters might be ready to talk about the suspicious circumstances surrounding the disappearance of their mother and Beauty's recovery as a child, since they suspect that something was going on there that relates to current events. We'll have to wait until Tuesday to see what happens!

And with that, I'm all caught back up on commenting on the comic. I'm sorry that it took me so long to get back to this, Megan. Grad school and my own writing projects have been keeping me busy, but I certainly didn't intend to fall this far behind. Nonetheless, I hope you've enjoyed my overdue commenting spree and that things are going well for you.
Congratulations, by the way, on your own Smol Rose Child! I'm so happy for you! (Hugs.)

Wishing you and yours all the best as we head into February!
