Hey gang, you're all super patient. Webcomics with ongoing plots are incredibly hard to pace, and honestly, the platform isn't good for it. But it does mean free comics! So if you're gnawing your leg off, I don't blame you. Feel free to take a break and come back in a bit when there's a backlog for you to read all at once. Believe me, this is all gonna flow better if we just let it breathe!
Your pace is perfect Ms. Megan. Keep up the good work~
Dang, it seems Beauty has noticed how different things are now that she is home and not just us as the readers. She grew up quite a bit in her time with Beast and with that, she has come to notice that things aren't as black and white as they once appeared to be.
Hey, don't worry! Most webcomics that also aim to print entire volumes suffers from this! I also have this "problem" haha and I don't even expect people to come back every week, cuz every 2 months would be better for them :P
I don't know, I enjoy the pacing of this webcomic. It gives the characters room to breath and work out their issues, rather than focusing on action at the expense of characterization. And BATB is such an intimate, psychological story anyway, so expecting it to go quickly...well, I don't think that would be true to the kind of story it is, you know?
Anyway, as for the page itself, I like how we can see the growth of her relationship with the Beast through her memories, and I like that we get that call back to Odysseus. Though I don't think it's so much that Beauty's home has changed, in this case, but that she has, and there is no going back to how things were anymore.
also, a nice glum jam for this scene because that's nice.
