Jeez, Beauty, I hope you're not wrong. That maze wasn't exactly nice to you before, but hey, maybe now that it's right through the Beast's heart (or at least, where it should be), it'll hear her? Hopefully the Beast does, too!

I suppose the roses do emerge out of the Beast’s “heart,” or where it was. I wouldn’t have guessed diplomacy as a possible option here.

Well that's unexpected. Let's hope it works!

Ms. Megan, the emotions coming off of this page are breathtaking. I'm really feeling Beauty's anguish; this is so well done. I honestly didn't know a comic could make me feel this way (and I've been reading comics for a very long time).

busy time around here, but finally managed to catch up, and... meep! this isn't going to turn into a tragedy... right? *bundle of nerves*

Oooooh, interesting. So the thorns might be a metaphor for the walls the Beast has built around his heart (like the castle = his depression)? This makes me wonder if the castle and its grounds would look different/behave differently with another caretaker. Does the condition of your heart define how the magic of this place reacts?
