At least that got resolved, but how will things go with Beast/Argus?

Beauty and Argus' moms are on opposite ends of the parent-scale, just about.

I really hope this doesn't mean that the comic is almost over...I mean, I understand if the artist is getting tired, but I love this comic...I always hate to see good ones actually finish, no matter the ending.

I get where you're coming from, but especially when it's an adaptation of a well-known story, there's only so much to tell, and a natural point at which to conclude. I'm sure we'd all probably hate it if MsMegan dragged this out for years and added new conflicts after bringing us this close to wrapping things up.

In my opinion, a good story will leave you both satisfied that the main conflict has been resolved, but wanting more because of the way the story pulls you in. That feeling is what keeps me coming back to my favorites, and this is surely one I'll keep coming back to.

Gotta love those beautiful goodbyes but why do I feel we're gonna get another look at swan mom?

Goodbye Swan Mom. We will never forget your wisdom, your kindness, your awesome feather cloak.

Seriously, where do I buy one of those? Also how does it stay on her shoulders? Is there a hidden clasp that attaches it to her shoulders without being visible?

Does anyone remember when we all thought Swan Mom was shifty? My how things have changed ;)

I love everything about this page.

And yes, happy endings are rare! Which is why I think they are such important stories to tell. I hate when people say a happy ending is unrealistic. Like yes, it is, but if a story with a happy ending takes place in a world where happy endings are rare, isn't that the whole point of telling the story? In a harsh (real) world, sometimes we need a story with a good happy ending, to remind us there's something worth working hard for. :)

Awww, I love how supportive Elise is to her daughter. It's so good to see such a strong mother-daughter relationship, especially in a story where the mother is usually dead. I'm looking forward to someday, very soon, going back through the other acts and seeing the little ways that Elise was helping along the way (such as giving Beauty Argus' journal). But for now, we're off to see these two kids reunite! I am excited!
