Oh...dear, that is not good. That is not good at all. While Mama (forgive me, her name escapes me) has great balance, I'm not sure she can stay on the boat with that great wave crashing down on it. Similarly, I can easily see Beauty getting washed off the side. Definitely not good! And Beauty, I'd be scared too!

Little Notes: Mama's face in the fourth panel looks a bit like a scarecrow to me - very unsettling. There's also a really nice sense of movement to this. Your storyboarding skills are showing! ;) You mentioned that I should take notes on what I like seeing in my favorite comics, so this would be a page to keep in mind.

In any case, I'm looking forward to the next update!

I love that the sound of the rain looks almost like Beauty's crying for her father under her breath.

What an interesting dream... at least aI assume it's a dream or a memory fro the past, very cool XD
I'm still very curious what happened in the beginning though, with the girl in the bed.... I wonder how that all ties into this

...And now that we've wee Beauty with her mother, I'm wondering if this is more memory than dream. Perhaps a forgotten one? In any case, I love the sense of motion in this page---the wind, the waves. Excellent.

I'm fairly convinced this was how Beauty became deathly ill in the first place. And Elise looks /especially creepy/ in that fourth panel - more like a scarecrow than a person, thanks to the face. Eeesh. (Shudders.)

I remember just eating this page up when you first posted it, though I became obsessive with refreshing the page soon enough in the off chance you may have posted an update early. I didn't see it until AbigailBrooks pointed it out, but Elise really does look like one freaky scarecrow in that panel. I love the current of horror that's nearly palpable in this page.
